UTORprotect - Lots of advice on how to keep your PC healthy
Anti-Virus information - You need to run up to date antivirus program. It does not have to be ours, but ours is free to all UofT students and staff and comes with frequent updates.
Network Information includes list of blocked hosts - If your site misbehaves, for example it keeps sending out spam or allows distribution of copyrighted movies, and we receive complaints or the activity is severe enough to have impact on our networks, we will block your access to the internet.
Keep your system up to date with all the latest updates. You can check if your system is up to date with a small program that you can get here. This does not run under Windows 95, 98, or ME and you must run as a user with administrative rights.
