Antivirus check has failed.

Your computer has failed an Antivirus Status check. Please review the following points, one at a time, in order to resolve the problem:

Possible Cause 1: Your computer may have failed the check because the Antivirus program is not installed.

Solution: If you are a member of the University of Toronto community, please obtain and install your free copy of Symantec AntiVirus from: http://antivirus.utoronto.ca. If you are not a member of the University community, please obtain and install AVG Antivirus from: http://free.grisoft.com which is available without charge if you agree to their licensing conditions.

Possible Cause 2: Your computer has an Antivirus program installed and running, but it is not configured to automatically detect and block viruses and worms.

Solution: If you are using Symantec Antivirus obtained from the University of Toronto, please ensure that 'File System Auto Protect' is enabled. If you are using another antivirus product, please ensure that this similar function is enabled. You may need to consult your antivirus product documentation for assistance.

Possible Cause 3: Your computer has an Antivirus program installed and running, but it is not up-to-date.

Solution: If you are using Symantec Antivirus obtained from the University of Toronto, please use the 'Live Update' function to ensure the antivirus program is up-to-date. If you are using another antivirus product, please ensure that this similar function is enabled. You may need to consult your antivirus product documentation for assistance.
